What are the differences between the classic Genius Starter Kit for the iPad and the new one?

These two kits contain all of the same games, and almost all of the same game pieces. The older Genius Starter Kit for the iPad is no longer sold on PlayOsmo.com, but may still be available from some retailers.

There are only three differences:

1) the older Genius Starter Kit ships with cardboard magnetic boxes used to store the game pieces; the newer Genius Starter Kit ships with colorful, plastic storage containers for the game pieces that take up less space, and are more portable due to their smaller size;

2) the older Genius Starter Kit has uppercase letter tiles for the Words game, and the newer Genius Starter Kit has both uppercase and lowercase letter tiles instead; these new tiles have uppercase letters on one side, and lowercase letters on the other;

3) the older Genius Starter Kit includes the classic iPad Base, and the newer Genius Starter Kit includes the new iPad Base; here is a comparison of the two bases.
