The following iPads and iPhones will require the Osmo Reflector for iPad (2021), which is not yet included in any Osmo kit:
- iPad Pro 12.9-inch (Generations 3-6)
- iPad Pro 11-inch (Generations 1-4)
- iPad 10
- iPad Air 4
- iPad Air 5
- iPad Mini 6
- iPhone 12
- iPhone 12 Pro
- iPhone 12 Pro Max
- iPhone 13
- iPhone 13 Pro
- iPhone 13 Pro Max
- iPhone 14
- iPhone 14 Plus
The other compatible iPad models will work just fine with the standard iPad reflector (included with all Osmo Starter Kits and Bases) and don't need the Reflector for iPad 2021.
If your reflector has an adjustable dial on the side, then it's the 2021 version. If it does not, it's the standard iPad reflector (included with all Osmo Starter Kits and bases purchased prior to Fall 2022).
While you're waiting for the new reflector to arrive, we'd like to share a temporary workaround that *may* work for your device: roll a piece of paper or place a #2 pencil in between the tablet and the reflector to raise the reflector up a little bit.
Here's more information about the newest reflector:
