As long as you have either the classic coding blocks from Coding Awbie and Coding Jam or the new blocks from the Coding Family Bundle, you will be able to play Coding Duo.
The Coding Duo app was updated in August 2020, so you will no longer need to use the Coding Duo character blocks in order to play the game.
Once you update the app, you will be able to play the game without the two Coding Duo character blocks from this point forward.
