The Osmo Fire Base has access to the charging ports for all new Fire tablet models.
New Fire tablet models are landscape devices and are placed sideways on the Osmo base, so the front camera is positioned at the top.
The charging port is on the short side of most Fire tablets, so the Osmo reflector does not cover it.
However, the older Fire tablet models don't allow charging while in an Osmo Fire Base. They include:
Fire 7 (All Generations)
Fire HD 8 (8th Generation)
