Why did only some of the bubbles matching the number I placed pop in Osmo Numbers?

You only pop as many bubbles as the number of tiles you place to make the number. For example, if there were three bubbles with value 10, you would need to place at least three tiles to make 10 in order for them all of them to pop, such as 2, 3 and 5. If you placed 4 and 6, only two of them would pop.
